About

My family immigrated from Mexico to the United States in the early '80s, and despite being far away from their homeland, Mexican culture and music were something they never forgot about and made sure were a big part of my life. Growing up, we always had family parties (almost every weekend - my dad has 8 siblings), and Latin music was always blaring from the speakers. Often times, my tios Ramon and Pancho would start playing the guitar and singing corridos for everyone.

Even though I was born in the US, Latin music has always been a significant part of my life. And to this day, I listen to it every day. I love how it brings people together; I love the stories it tells, I love the beats, everything!

I created this game for people who love Latin music like me, and also because we need more games that represent our Latin culture and our incredible music. When building and selecting the initial music genres, I thought about my family and building a game that not only my cousins could play but that we could also include our parents and grandparents.

The next phase of this game will be to include more Latin music genres and new artists, so stay tuned for more updates! I hope you love this game as much as I do.
